How to reach the venue?

 

BY AIR
Arriving at Vienna Airport

On arrival at Vienna Airport, you can use the following transport options to reach Vienna:

  • CAT Train (express to Wien Mitte-Landstrasse): a one-way ticket is priced at €12.00. You can find information and timetables by clicking here.
  • ÖBB local train: a one-way ticket is priced at €4:30. You can find further information and timetables by clicking here.
  • Vienna Airport Bus: a one-way ticket is priced at €8.00. You can find further information and timetables by clicking here.
  • Taxi: Taxis are also available outside the terminal building and a drive to the city center costs circa €40.

 

BY TRAIN

Vienna has excellent rail collections to all major European cities. On arrival by train, you can travel throughout the city using the local U-Bahn or underground trains. The nearest station to the hotels with preferred rates is the Vienna Central Train Station (Hauptbahnhof). HOW TO REACH LAXENBURG

There will be a transfer arranged for attendees on each day of the conference leaving from the Vienna Central Train Station (Hauptbahnhof) to Laxenburg. Full details about the departure point and timings will be confirmed nearer the time of the event. Alternatively, there are regular buses (Bus 200 and 210, Terminal N2) to Laxenburg, leaving from the Vienna Central Train Station’s bus terminal (Wien Hauptbahnhof) approximately every 20-30 minutes. The nearest bus stop to the Conference Venue is Laxenburg Franz-Joseph-Platz (around 3-4 minutes by foot, see image below). You can look up times to the designated route by clicking here.

Distance from Vienna to Laxenburg is 26 kilometers and the transfer time takes around 30-35 minutes.
