For Presenters
We are looking forward to seeing you at the Scenarios Forum! Thank you for sharing your work.
Your sessions
To find your session (or sessions, if you are in more than one), first open the expanded programme:
Then search for your presentation using your browser’s search function. You will find:
- The name of the session
- The session chair (unless the chair is still TBD)
- The session code.
Session codes show the day and room. For example, code “3b-10” means that it is the second session (“b”) on Day 3 of the Forum, and is in the room “Roger Stevens LT 10 (9.10)”. (All parallel sessions are in the Roger Stevens building.)
Session timing
All parallel sessions are 90 minutes long.
- If the session chair has written to you with session-specific timing, then follow their guidance.
- Otherwise:
- If you are in a session with four papers, plan to speak for 15 minutes. That leaves 30 minutes of Q&A for the session.
- If you are in a session with three papers, plan to speak for 20 minutes. That leaves 30 minutes of Q&A for the session.
- If you are in a session with two or five papers, the session chair will have instructions for you.
Your slides
Please email your slides by end of the day Monday 14th July to: [email protected]. (But earlier is better if you have them!)
In the subject line, please add PRESENTATION and the session code: For example: “PRESENTATION 2a-16”.
If you need to make last-minute changes, or otherwise cannot email your presentation, please bring it before the start of your session on a USB stick.
We can accommodate most standard presentation file formats, particularly PowerPoint and PDF. But please note:
- We cannot guarantee internet access for parallel presentations, so you should present from a local file.
- Presentations must be made from University of Leeds computers – we cannot connect your computer to the A/V system.
Slide format and naming convention:
- Please prepare slides in wide format (16:9).
- Please name your presentation file using the format “Last Name-session code”. For example, “Kemp-Benedict-2c-16.pptx”.
Thank you! Following these guidelines should make everything run smoothly.
